DJ Mel B EZ

DJ Mel B EZ was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; and today he is one of the industries elite class of DJs. Mel B EZ started spinning in 1992, and in 1994 began working for TVT Records formerly known as Blunt Records as part of the street team. In the years to follow he ventured out into other areas of the entertainment business. He worked for Murder Inc. as the assistant to BJ, after the demise of that relationship he went back to his first love and in 2002 he had the chance of a lifetime, he was asked to be the opening act for the infamous Public Enemy at BB Kings in New York City.
In the beginning of 2003 DJ Mel B EZ stepped onto the club scene in Atlanta spinning at the infamous Club Chaos & SPF15. In the summer of 2003 he decided that Atlanta would be his home and he would soon become the most wanted DJ in the ATL. 2003 led DJ Mel B EZ to do Nelly’s Apple Bottom contest at Level 3 and he landed a job working for Evander Holyfield as an A.R. for Real Deal Records. Working at Real Deal Records proved to be just what he needed to get his name out there. After spinning for Holyfield’s Christmas party in 2003, DJ Mel B EZ career as a DJ took off and in the spring of 2004 he became the resident DJ for Living Room in ATL’s Buckhead. After these experiences the sky was the limit for this Brooklyn born DJ.
- 2004 Mel B EZ became a member of the Legion of Doom (LOD)
- 2005 he hooked up with Def Jam R n B sensation Case and became his personal Tour DJ
- 2006, DJ Mel B EZ made his 1st movie appearance in Madea’s Family Reunion.
