DJ Fish

Born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx, DJ Fish is no stranger to the club scene. With over 20 years of deejaying various clubs, he is most known for his time at the Sugar Shack in Harlem in the early 2000′s. DJ Fish first got his start deejaying in college in New Hampshire while displaying his basketball and academic skills. A product of Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, Fish shared time and space with the likes of Jamal Mashburn, Swizz Beatz, and rapper Tracey Lee, just to name a few. Fish’s deejay debut at Skate Key in the Bronx (by way of the remarkable DeeJay LA Luv) led to a consistent career and respect from other deejays which have coined him the Bx Finest.

Most recently DJ Fish was, and continues to be part of successful movements like Wednesday’s (and Thursday’s) at Oze Tavern in the Bronx, Talk About It Thursday’s at One Fish Two Fish in Manhattan, Soulfood Friday’s at Glenroys and Saturday Nights at the Newsroom both in the Bronx.

As the newest member to the Sikmixx Radio family, DJ Fish will continue a legacy of spinning the latest in hip hop and R&B or his favorite old school hip hop. You can always hear him say “Let’s go thru some joints!” You can even catch him playing a little bit of Hector Lavoe, Alanis Morrisette, Miley Cyrus or Journey. Hey, you never know!
